"We had our first visit to Anton's yesterday for a special lunch to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Expectations were high having read the other visitors comments on the website and delighted to say we were not disappointed in any way. All of the food was truly excellent, the service was friendly and efficient and, considering the quality, the bill was very reasonable indeed. Thanks for a very enjoyable & memorable meal, we will certainly be back and recommending Anton's to our friends. And we were at Stansed waiting for my daughter's flight to arrive just 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant - perfect!"

"Having heard about antons restaurant more than once, I decided to visit it. I travel a lot and visit many establishments. I must say that the food was amazing, I asked for tuna tartar as starter and then shared a Chateaubriand with my partner. The service, faultless, as we don't see these days anymore. Communication between management and staff was done in a very professional way, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and we could see that they enjoy what they do. Danielle, the name of the girl who served us, is so friendly that you can forgive any mistakes if there had been any. But I do have to say that in a restaurant of this quality and with bottles of wine reaching ?120.0 pounds it is not admissile to have glasses of such a poor quality (pub standard glasses.) It does not help. Another negative comment is the open salt and pepper on the tables. Overall definitely a venue to visit again. Other restaurants should follow Antons' example in training their staff."

On every occasion the food is of the highest quality, prepared beautifully and presented on the plate in an outstanding way. However, this alone doesnt make a good restaurant into a destination venue. Often it is the lack of service and customer attention that lets the the restaurant down. However, in the case of Anton's, the service to the table is also of the highest standard. The girl that served us on Sunday has served us before but on Sunday we were a party of 10. She was totally attentive and responsive to our every need and served us at all times with a smile and with a pleasant welcoming attitude - the customer's needs to her were clearly first and paramount. This is all too rare these days and is a credit to Filipe as restaurant manager. You are now one our most favourite restaurants and we look forward to future visits."
